Harmony 34 Full Details

The straight bow and fine lines ensure performance and easy passage in chop. The streamlined roof ensures that there is plenty of head room down below. The spacious cockpit has lateral as well as rear based lockers.

A detachable toe-rail means the crew can be well attached to the list. The shut transom ensures the crew's safety at sea and confers the boats an elegant and timeless silhouette. The central part of the helmsman's seat can easily tilt backwards and be transformed into a bathing platform with stainless steel ladder.

The washboard rails and originally designed cleats ensure safety on deck. The dolphin nose, part of the stem specially designed for the Harmony range, means the anchor can easily be positioned whilst protecting the hull with a bobstay. A tack point for asymetrical spinnaker can be found. The helm console includes all the electronics, the control panel and the engine switch.

Engine;

The engine is a 29 hp Volvo engine. This latest generation diesel engine is powerful, sober and quiet. With large fuel reserves, it comfortably provides enough cruising power as well as generating electricity and hot water for those on board. This ensures a smooth passage, and greater autonomy on those longer trips.

Construction:

The hull is a sandwich made up of 20 mm thick PVC foam.  The latest modern production techniques have been used to ensure that this vessel has both an excellent weight/resistance and ballast / displacement ratio, which considerably increases safety.

The keel is a cast iron tandem keel treated with epoxy, which ensures a perfect compromise between draught and high sail performance, and the fine trailing edge of the this bulb keel, provides optimal performance.

Accommodation:

The contemporary fitted out space below deck is a mixture of white-lacquered partitions and golden woodwork. Large doors and large-volume cupboards and wardrobes as well as well-ventilated shelving, allow for easy circulation and comfort.

The linear galley includes a pale synthetic stone single-piece kitchen working surface, including a sink, drainer, storage compartment, bin and refrigerator.

The watertight bathroom is easy to maintain and includes a large storage space, sink and shower seat.

Equipment:

The boat is fitted with Lewmar fittings that are oversized compared to most sailboats of the same size, making the boat easier to handle for charter crew.

Winches: Anodised aluminium Self Tailing for lightness.

The mainsail tackle: Made up of pulleys with auto lubricating bearings specially designed to be compact for lightness and great resistance.

The windlass: The electrical windlass with a 12V watertight engine is chromed bronze with a mixed gipsy that accepts the cable and chain.

Ground tackle: The anchorage is perfectly adapted to the windlass and boat size, and includes an auto-ejectable Delta anchor with its chain and hawser.

Hatches and portholes: The deck hatches have mosquito nets and curtains.
