Owners Comments: PBO in their 1978 article on the Dockrell 27 commented that “under sail 'she glided like a bird, beautifully balanced, easy on the tiller and superbly responsive", they concluded by saying that "there are few boats with such thoroughbred qualities and with a sea kindly hull form and comfortable accommodation".
This delightful cruiser a copy of the Hurley equivalent offers a deep safe cockpit, good sailing ability and accommodation comfortable for up to 5. A perfect family cruiser. The headroom below is comparable with much larger boats. She has a shallow (3 ft) draft long keel with a flared base allowing drying-out. She has regularly been sailed over the last 4 years including extended cruises to Scotland & Ireland. A very safe, sea kindly boat, new boat forces sale.
